Winter Sun Destinations


There is snow outside or a chill in the air, the nights are long and all you want is some sunshine!
There is only one thing to do! Fly away to somewhere hot and sunny with beautiful beaches, exotic scents and flavours of local fresh foods.

However finding the best destination for sunshine during our European winter is not as easy as just heading south. Some parts of the Caribbean and South East Asia can be unsettled with fickle tropical weather, whilst mid-winter in parts of the Indian Ocean is the rainy season. There are a few European islands that stay warm year round, making them ideal for a winter sun holiday.

Lanzarote only four hours away, is now better known for its boutique properties, unique art, Spanish culture and volcanic landscapes in Timanfaya National Park. Stay in the friendly Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort as an excellent base for exploring the island.

The island is perfect for exploring with a ruggedly beautiful coastline and some of the most extraordinary archaeological ruins. Cancun is the gateway to beautiful beaches, outstanding natural beauty and ancient ruined cities. Only eight and half hours this destination offers the perfect place to do absolutely nothing but chill. Hotel Esencia is the ideal retreat for a special romantic occasion.

Cambodia is the place to go if you want to see South-East Asia at its most beguiling.
