Italy this Autumn

Italy has been a favourite destination of ours, and there really is no better place for an autumn short break this year.   We are delighted that the Italian Government took some very serious Coronavirus measures earlier in the summer meaning that Italy has stayed firmly on the list of ‘must see’ countries, and, thankfully, off the list of places requiring clients to quarantine.

One positive out of the challenges we have faced this year is that all the great cities have been rejuvenated by the absence of mass-market day trippers and cruise-ship thousands, offering a much more peaceful, authentic experience and warm welcome for the discerning visitors. The great classical cities of Rome, Venice, Florence and Naples are all open to visitors and those who have chosen to travel recently have explored museums and galleries in tranquillity and at a respectful distance from others. From the unique combination of exquisite art and architecture - including some of the world's finest ancient monuments to the excellent local restaurants and trattoria locals have been taking immense pride in looking after their guests, with some of that ‘old-fashioned flair’. An al fresco lunch or dinner in Italy is a great pleasure and privilege to be savoured by all who are fortunate enough to be able to travel this year.

So what are we waiting for! We can highly recommend some autumn sunshine in Sicily, Sardinia or on the Amalfi Coast – where you can enjoy extraordinary value for money, as we are able to secure a number of exceptional new special contract rates from some our favourite hotels. I really sense that there is no time like the present to visit Italy again.

It is never too late to book! With our specialist partner to Italy we can create tailor-made short breaks and confirm bookings in record quick time, with documents dispatched the same day by email or courier.

We would be delighted to arrange a Zoom call, meanwhile take a look at some of the delightful hotels that await your arrival with Italian passion!

Prices are per person and include flights from airport of your choice, private car transfers or private water taxi in Venice, accommodation with breakfast, guides for restaurants, museums and sightseeing.
