Gary and Kathryn – Baja California, Mexico

What an amazing road trip! From the spectacular sun rise over the Mountains and the "cactus forests" between Loreto and Santa Rosalia, to the breathtaking, virtually guaranteed close encounters with Grey Whales and their babies at San Ignacio bay, this is a holiday experience I will never forget!  .The boutique hotels were beautifully furnished in traditional Mexican style, with enormous beds and soft duvets to keep out the spring chill. Rancho Pescadero was a relaxing little piece of heaven by the Pacific, where we were waited on hand and foot, while we could still whale watch from our balcony! The Baja local cuisine is a seafood lovers’ heaven, But you can still find all the Mexican basics to accompany your Margaritas all at really reasonable prices when away from the mass market areas. And best of all no Montezuma's revenge. The jeep was a great choice, and such fun to drive. Thank you so much Debbie for a great holiday.
