The Acropolis, Athens Virtual Tour
Athens is rich in culture, the cradle of democracy, rich in heritage and when you think of the capital of Greece the Parthenon is most likely to come to mind - a large, crumbling, collonaded building standing stoically on the cliffs. It may be over 2,400 years old, but this ancient site still denotes power and importance.
Whilst Greece may be closed off to tourists at the moment we can still explore one of its most iconic archaeological remains that are still one of the World's great cultural attractions.
Explore the full Acropolis site without the hoards of coaches descending with this video showing Acropolis from above and the view from the ground. Learn about the history and paired with detailed information this virtual tour is an interactive and informative way to experience Greece's symbol of democracy.
