June destinations


Borneo, a delightful South-East Asian island where June is a fabulous time to travel as this month is dry, with an average temperature of 29°C. Malaysian Borneo is split between the provinces of Sabah and Sarawak, offering a tantalising mix of rain forests, volcanoes, idyllic tropical islands, trekking and diving. The island is renowned for its huge variety of wildlife including orang-utan, proboscis monkey and exceptional birdlife.

Activity: Try and plan in a trip to the remote sandy Lankayan Island when you'll see green and hawksbill turtles in June.


Regarded as the ‘Isle of Beauty’ of France. Corsica may be small but makes an impact, from dramatic chalk cliffs that plunge to the sea to elegance and sophistication of its cities. Famous for the Mediterranean light that sparked Henri Matisse’s passion for colour, this is an island that is sure to capture your heart and wish to visit again.



Activity: If you like walking then take a slow walk through Bonifacio, hike up to the citadel for panormaic views and then enjoy a very 'Italian's style lunch in one of the charming rustic cafe's.


Canada's most western province can be captured in superlatives such as WOW, AMAZING, SPECTACULAR and rightly so, but there is much more to the province than mighty mountains, deep forests and dramatic coastlines. Vancouver fuses cultures and cuisines, Victoria is welcoming and quirky but the way to get a feel for the province is to head to the great outdoors and enjoy the wilderness and wildlife whether on foot, in a zodiac or by sea-plane. 



Activity: make sure you have your camera to hand as there is some amazing wildlife around including elk, moose, wolves, grizzly and black bears. There is also around 500 bird varieties including blue heron and the bald eagle.
